Factisk speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants connect in a few clicks and then work within the permissions you grant.
What your assistant can do
The tools use the same validation and calculations as the web interface. Totals and VAT are always calculated by the server.

Look up customers and retrieve details.
Products
Look up products and services.
Invoices
View invoices, retrieve outstanding items and create a draft invoice.
Payments
Register a payment on an invoice.
How to connect an assistant
The connection uses OAuth 2.1. Your assistant requests access, you decide the permissions. You never share your password.
Add Factisk in your assistant
Enter the MCP URL of your Factisk environment in Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client.
Log in and choose the permissions
You are sent to Factisk. There you choose per area whether the assistant may read or also write. The connection belongs to the company that is active at that moment.
Manage connections under Settings
Under Settings, Integrations you see all connections and revoke them with one click.

Each connection only gets the scopes you grant. If a scope is missing, Factisk refuses the action.

OAuth 2.1 with PKCE
Dynamic client registration, a consent screen and tokens that are independent of your browser session.
Tokens stored only as a hash
Refresh tokens rotate. If an old token is reused, all tokens of the connection are revoked.
Idempotent write actions
Creating a draft invoice or registering a payment requires an idempotency key. A repeated request returns the same result and never creates a duplicate.
Every action in the audit log
Changes made by an assistant are recorded with source MCP, so you always see who did what.
